Indian Istyle home made Chicken Stew - When you are bored with the same old Chicken Curry ;)
Ingredients:

- Chicken pieces (cut into cubes) - Boneless or With bones
- Ghee (2-3 table spoons)
- White Oil (1-2 table spoons)
- Salt to taste
- Cumin powder (1 table spoon)
- Cumin whole (few)
- Coriander powder (1 table spoon)
- Turmeric powder (1 tea spoon)
- Cardamum (few)
- Cinnamon (few)
- Cloves (few)
- Bay lead (few)
- Black pepper (powder or whole)
- Green Chilli (two - slitted)
- Carrots (cubed)
- Beans (small pieces)
- Potatoes (cubed)
- Onion (Minced)
- Ginger & Garlic paste
Marinate:
- Marinate the chicken pieces with turmeric powder, little salt and ginger garlic paste and keep aside for 15mins or more
Ready to cook?:
- Heat the pressure cooker on the oven and add ghee and little white oil.
- Add in whole Garam Masala (cardamum, Cinnamon, cloves & bay leaf) and whole cumin seeds, till the seeds crackle
- Add onions minced and the slit green chilli to the ghee and oil combo and fry till they the onion is light brown
- Add the masalas to the onion - cumin, black pepper & coriander powder and fry on
- Add the other veggies (carrots, beans & potatoes) and fry a bit more and mix everything well
- Now add the marinated chicken and mix well and fry till the chicken is no more pink.
- Add salt to the mixture
- Now add water to immerse the mixture and close the cooker with the lead (You can add more water and make it more soupy :) )
- Let the cooker have 4 whistles and then close the gas oven
- Let the pressure out and then open the cooker carefully
- Serve the yummy stew with bread or plain rice. Njoy your healthy Chicken Stew.
